2nd Quarter Reflection

a.) I've gained valuable insights into my own work patterns and time management habits through this period of self-reflection. The most significant discovery has been understanding that procrastination isn't simply laziness, but often stems from deeper issues like fear of failure, or feeling overwhelmed. This awareness has helped me understand my triggers and patterns, making me more conscious of when and why I tend to put things off.

b.) The primary challenge I've faced has been procrastination, which has affected my ability to complete tasks efficiently and causes distress. I found myself constantly pushing deadlines, starting assignments at the last minute, and feeling anxious about the quality of my rushed work. This bad habit not only impacted my academic performance but also took a toll on my mental well-being.

c.) To address this challenge, I started breaking large tasks into smaller, manageable that felt less intimidating and easier to start. I also established a structured schedule with specific time blocks dedicated to different activities, which reduced decision fatigue about when to work. Additionally, I implemented techniques like the Pomodoro method, where I worked in focused 25-minute intervals followed by short breaks.

d.) Moving forward, I will continue to build on these strategies while developing even stronger time management skills. I plan to maintain a more consistent daily routine and use tools like planners or digital apps to track my progress and hold myself accountable. I'll also work on addressing tasks earlier rather than waiting until pressure mount.
